Hello! I’m Francesca. I’m an Oxford graduate and a patient and friendly tutor. I studied English Literature with Spanish at St. Anne’s Oxford because I love close text analysis and discussing broader literary themes. I’ve spent time working at KPMG in the legal department, and have worked abroad in Spain as a language teacher, too. I’m passionate about making students realise their academic ability and finding their interests through textual analysis and critical thinking of literature. I look forward to breaking down theories and understandings bit by bit, making students feel confident and able to ask questions on the way. I look forward to teaching!

I'll focus on ensuring we have a working knowledge of what the task at hand is. Then, we'll move onto close language work and in-depth analysis. Lastly, we'll come up with a plan of how to work on your skills and get your marks up.

I'm experienced teaching nursery children right through to students aged 80 or over. I have taught lessons of over 20 students, and also do one-to-one online tutorials.

I’m an eager thespy type, having performed in an improv comedy group throughout University and I directed the company, too.
