I am an Oxford graduate and a good motivator with infectious enthusiasm.
My teaching experience has equipped me with the skills and confidence to teach anyone. I discuss with my pupils what it is they are finding difficult, design a plan of attack to work on those areas and inspire them to work with me to achieve the learning goals we have set together. I really enjoy watching my pupils become confident, and aim to maintain a balance between a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and diligent work to achieve clear-set goals. It is my clear explanation, motivation and organisation that improves results.
I am an experienced, patient and friendly tutor with a degree in French and Italian from Oxford. I have tutored all ages of varying standards and worked as a teacher for 9 months teaching English, Biology and Geography to mainly GCSE classes. As well as this classroom experience I have extensive practice in one to one tuition.
Aside from academia I am a very keen squash and tennis player and am enthusiastic to try out most sports. I love the outdoors and really enjoy hiking when I can, this summer I will be walking Hadrian's Wall with friends. I also play the piano and bassoon.
