Hi! My name is Josh and I graduated with a First in Human Sciences from St Catherine's College, Oxford. Growing up, I split my time between Uganda, Tanzania, and London, and am currently applying for funding to pursue a PhD in African Development and Politics. I have worked as a tutor for 5 years and have extensive experience tutoring Geography, Spanish, French, and Oxbridge Admissions. All of the Oxbridge applicants I have tutored for their interviews have been admitted - in Geography, HSPS, Human Sciences, and Archaeology and Anthropology.
My approach to tutoring depends on the student and subject I am teaching. For some students, structure and clarity are paramount - I have extra resources, and lesson plans to cater to this. For others, especially those students who are not particularly interested in the subject at hand, developing an enthusiasm is really important. I consider myself to be a very enthusiastic tutor, but equally as someone who can provide focus, structure, and clarity if this is what a student requires.

I also have lots of experience (and additional resources for) teaching the TSA and the HSPS admissions test.
I currently work as a Positional Coach for the Oxford University American Football Team, which I played for whilst I was at Oxford. I was also President of the club during the final year of my studies. I also balanced American Football and my subject work with running an Independent and International Film Society.
