Alexander C.
Hi! I am 25 years old, from London, UK, and am currently studying for a masters in economics at the Stockholm School of Economics. I have a successful and diverse academic background, having previously studied economics, maths and music to a high level at universities in Oxford and London. I have also spent three years working as a professional policy advisor for the UK government at HM Treasury in London - I'm comfortable providing advice on both academic and professional issues.
Having graduated in music from Christy Church, Oxford, I am well positioned to offer tutoring or advice on any area of academic music. This could include tutoring for A level music, or providing assistance with preparation for university admissions. As a current masters student in economics, I'd also be very happy to tutor economics. I would be happy to teach both A level and degree levels economics. I am a friendly and considerate teacher, and am able to meet my pupil at what ever level of understanding they arrive with. I believe that my own diverse academic background helps me to explain my subjects to students with many different academic strengths. I really love the subjects that I teach, and I hope this comes through in my approach to teaching them!
I have a lot of experience teaching maths and music theory to children aged up to 16 years old. I am happy teaching economics or music up to Bachelor level, and teaching maths to A level.
I play a lot of music in my spare time! I also love spending time outdoors - camping/walking/skiing etc.
