Cassie S.
I am a 3rd year Medicine student at Oriel College, University of Oxford. I achieved 3 A*s at A level in Biology (AQA), Chemistry (OCR) and Maths (Edexcel), an A* in EPQ and an A in English Literature at AS level. I also achieved 14 A*s at GCSE level. I am able to offer medical school application and interview advice, as well as subject-specific tuition. I have a particular interest in the immune system and infections. My lessons will all be tailored to your specific needs, being guided by your weaknesses and own goals. We will set targets at the start of our first tutorial and then work together to reach these. I will ensure you get the most out of the tutorial by encouraging discussion between us and also making it an enjoyable experience. In order to help you pass your exams, I will focus the lessons on the exam board specification and past papers, concentrating on topics that you feel need the most improvement. I will also help you to understand in more depth the science behind topics that you choose, to develop your confidence both for university applications and as a scientist. I am extremely approachable and patient, and will work with you to develop your confidence for your exams and university applications, and ultimately to help you to achieve you goals. I enjoy cheerleading for the university and running in my spare time. I also play the piano and volunteer for a student support service. I particularly like contemporary classical music, including the work of Ludovico Einaudi.
