I am going into my second year of studying English at St Catherine's with an inexhaustible passion for exploring all kinds of literature, and an equal passion for sharing all of this knowledge with my students!
I aim to stretch my students beyond their immediate level of study and get them thinking about the next level of English. I also emphasise the need to familiarise oneself closely with the exam rubric and using a rigid structure as part of exam technique.
I have tutored IGCSE English Language and Literature for a year; I have also taught English as a Foreign Language and some Literature to students at a school in Zambia for a week.
Obviously as an English student I am always reading for pleasure alongside my prescribed reading, and I write a little whenever I can find the time, but I also enjoy playing any college sport I come across, from football to cricket to croquet!
