I am a third-year History student at Oxford University. Originally, I come from Walthamstow, east London. In my free time I like to play football and do pub quizzes.

I like to help a student discover what his or her interests are, so that they can learn to enjoy studying for its own sake.

I am a qualified Blue Tutor. In my school I was an active participant in mentoring programmes: while I was in sixth form, I mentored two history pupils through GCSE history. The topics they studied included Nazi Germany and nineteenth-century British History. At university, I have acted as mentor to four students through the 'college parent' system. One of these studied history, while the other three studied modern foreign languages.
