I am a graduated in PPE from Oxford with a 2:1. I am one of the rare PPEists who kept on all three letters for my final papers so I have a broad range of knowledge. I specialise in behavioural and intuitive economics, because I love problem solving, but I have also focused on Plato's Republic and some regional politics from a sociological perspective - Japan, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Britain. I am currently working in London as a Conference Producer designing the programme for The Future of Utilities 2018.

I would be able to offer you comprehensive interview preparation, but most importantly experience speaking confidently about your subject - toying through ideas with somebody familiar with them. This will improve your verbal reasoning, making it easier for you to think on your feet - but will also reaffirm your love for your subject. An example practice interview session with me would begin with some Thinking Skills Assessment style questions, which would be followed by a problem - challenging you to guide your audience through your method of thinking, finishing with some unseen textual analysis. I would give you experience with a friendly examiner, but also push you like a nasty one, so that you have a holistic preparation, and can overcome interview anxiety with me. This will develop your reasoning skills (as opposed to your proficiency with facts and prior knowledge) which is important because interviews are being used more and more to assess raw thinking skills, instead of educational preparation which can sometimes favour certain pockets of people. I am a very good mathematician and can guide you through the A level syllabus, offering a programme that is tailored to your skills and experience. I achieved almost full marks in my Economics A level and would feel very comfortable providing you with revision and stretch sessions.

I have been tutoring informally for oxbridge interview preparation for 3 months. I taught sport and drama in Northern Uganda.

At university I was a keen rower and my college's badminton captain. I also founded my own theatre company, producing Shakespeare's Henry V and Macbeth. Now that I have left I have taken up road cycling. I also love documentaries, and challenge you to find somebody who has seen a higher percentage of the ones offered on Channel 4 than me.
