Cambridge
I am a current second year Psychological and Behavioural Sciences student at Cambridge. During school I attained 3A*'s at A Level including Psychology and I have a keen interest in all areas of psychological research. I am currently interning on a project at the Centre for Family Research at Cambridge and have previously worked as a summer research assistant at Stanford University's Department of Psychology researching depression and mood disorders.
I really enjoy tutoring and I believe it is important that the correct information is accessible to all students applying to university and specifically Oxbridge. I think it is important that students have a realistic understanding of what the interviews may entail and how to tackle source based interviews such as the interpretation of articles, data and graphs. I believe it important to work out with the student which areas are best focused on e.g. Personal statement writing, college essay submission, tests or Interview practice as to get the most out of their tuition.
I have previously helped numerous people, with personal statement writing and interview skills, all of which were successful in their appellations to university, including Cambridge. I have also worked with my old school supporting a current students application for PBS at Cambridge, helping them with both personal statement wiring, interview skills and mock interview style questions. I have also previously tutored students on Psychology A Level and Maths and Science GCSE.
