Brian K.
I am currently an undergraduate studying Physics at University College, Oxford. Prior to Oxford, I completed my Cambridge A Levels (A* in Physics, Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Chemistry) in Malaysia. At Cambridge AS Level I scored Top in the World in Mathematics. As a student, I helped and gave advices to prospective students applying for Oxbridge for physical science subjects and I mainly focused on tutoring subjects in physics and mathematics.
The most important goal in tutorial is students' understanding on the subject. Therefore, I expect tutorials to be a session with mutual interaction between students and tutor. That being said, I will mainly ask questions in the tutorial to find out if the students have understood the concepts, and will address concepts that are not well understood in the tutorial. I will be flexible and happy to discuss any topics student would like to address during tutorial, as tutorial should cater to student's need.
In the past, I've volunteered to teach several A-Level Physics and Mathematics tutorials when I was studying A-Level. I plan to resume part-time tutorial in university. Find me if you have any questions about Oxbridge admission test (PAT especially), Oxbridge interview (I will be able to help mainly with physics interview), or any A-Level Math and Physics problems.
Mainly board games and movies on Netflix.
