I'm a 21 year old English graduate, having finished at St. Hugh's College, Oxford this June. I achieved the second highest marks for Shakespeare in the whole of Oxford University. I spent the last 5 months interning in Paris for a music industry start-up (I speak French and German), and have returned to the UK to work in London for a year, intending to take up an MA in Shakespeare in autumn 2016. I am an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
I am relaxed, easy-going, and very conversational. From first-hand experience, I understand the inner-workings of an Oxbridge tutorial, which tutors attempt to simulate during the interview process. I enjoy discussing the mechanics of what makes great writing tick, and would be adept at honing the analytical skills required to succeed in such a competitive process as the Oxbridge application.
I benefited from tutoring myself whilst at Sixth Form, and, during my Oxford degree, we would often have to teach fellow students about our research projects during seminars. For both of these reasons, I have a lot about what goes into successful teaching. I am a confident, and enthusiastic, communicator.
I do a few things outside of reading. Namely, long distance running, playing football, listening to music (of most modern forms), travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
