Hi! I am an enthusiastic, friendly and thorough tutor, with over 4 years of experience. I studied Engineering at the University of Oxford. I offer preparation and mock interviews for students that want to get into Oxbridge, in the subjects of Engineering, Maths, Physics or Natural Sciences. I also offer general university preparation, help with personal statements and A-level tutoring.     My tutoring journey began with me helping out some classmates in Maths during GCSE’s. When those classmates improved their exam scores and told me they had started enjoying the subject, I was very encouraged and excited. Seeing that I could make a difference, I realised that I enjoyed using my passion for Maths and Science by helping people achieve their goals of improving their aptitude, understanding and test scores.     When I started my AS-levels, I gave tutoring to GCSE students in Maths, the Sciences and English. Once I started A2-levels, my GCSE students moved up to AS-levels and I continued to tutor them.     Before University, I took a gap year and using my unconditional offer from Oxford, provided Oxbridge preparation and A-level tutoring. It was a successful, enjoyable and productive period for both my students and for me.

            When it comes to university preparation, I believe that flexible manipulation of different areas of Physics and Maths is crucial to interview performance. I use a huge selection of questions that all my friends in Engineering, Physics and Maths received in their interviews, the questions that I faced, and some of the type of questions I have done in my course, that are likely to come up in an interview. I put them into mock interview style formats, with the most difficult questions at the end. I like to cover a wide variety of different topics that the students could be faced with and introduce them to new concepts to promote abstract, novel and applied thinking, skills that are very helpful in an Oxbridge interview.

            - 2 years of privately tutoring GCSE students in Maths, the 3 Sciences and English during my A-levels, and tutoring AS Physics and Maths whilst I was doing my A2.  - Took out a gap year to save up for university and used my unconditional offer from Oxford to help other pupils applying to Oxbridge for Engineering, Physics or Maths with mock interviews, practice and tips. In parallel I was giving A-level Physics, Maths and Further Maths tutoring.  - Continued to offer tutoring and Oxbridge preparation whilst studying Engineering.  -  Still offer Oxbride preparation for prospective Oxbridge students
