Oxford
I have always been keen on Mathematics and Computer Science and, in general, on science. My passion for these two subjects got me to win a lot of prizes at national and international competitions, managing to win 1 gold medal in Romania's National Computer Science Olympiad, 5 gold medals in Romania's National Mathematics Olympiad and to get qualified in the team for international contests and olympiads. Last year I got into Oxford, having a score of 99% in the MAT .This year, I got the prize for the best overall performance in Oxford Computer Science examinations, obtaining a First degree with an 88.5% score.
I believe that the strongest technique is the power of example, any theory requires a strong and well explained example. I am always giving my students specially prepared exercises as homework and I have review tutorials where we discuss about how they for the homework, coming with personalised remarks to improve their solutions.
I prepared students for A-levels and IB who achieved good grades . I have been teaching olympiad winners in this summer in a National Camp where I was awarded the prize for the best lesson held. I have also been writing problems and articles for national maths publications in my country and I have been tutoring friends of mine for our national examinations.
I am interested in football, cycling and tennis.
