Hi, My name is Haengeun and I am a third year mathematician at New College, University of Oxford. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and English Literature A-Level and achieved 3A*s and 1A.         She is very excited about the Telephone Campaign as it will be a unique opportunity to hear many interesting stories from Old Members of the College, as well as help to raise important funds for the College.

            I love helping students understand a given problem and guide them to get to the correct solution. I think the method and learning process is more important than the final answer. I also want to help make studying mathematics more fun and enjoyable!

            I've had more than 7 years of teaching experience, including in a classroom, small group and 1:1 private tutoring.

            Outside my study time, I get involved in a number of aspects of College life, balancing academic challenge with volunteering to tutor Maths, playing squash with my friends, going to gliding in the airfield and acting as a Treasurer for the Mathematics Undergraduate Representative Committee.
