Erin D.
I'm a 4th year medical student at UCL, having just transferred from Oxford where I did my pre-clinical studies. I graduated from Oxford with a 2:1 in Medical Sciences, focussing more closely on immunology and infectious disease. I am passionate about helping talented students get to the university of their dreams to study medicine.
My tuition is very interactive in nature and I'm an incredibly open, no question is stupid and every response I give will be well-considered. I can tutor on both science, particularly on basic science that is tested at interview, and on the admissions process itself, such as personal statements and interview guidance.
I have helped to run admissions at Trinity College for two consecutive years and have developed good relationships with my tutors, and thus have developed some insight into admissions. I also have had experience of teaching english as a foreign language in China for 2 months. This allowed me to develop good lesson planning skills.
I love volunteering, particularly with children, and have been a facilitator with the UK charity Sexpression for over a year. I also enjoy learning French and yoga as well as playing football, which I played for Oxford, Trinity College, and now UCL Medical School.
