I graduated form Trinity Hall College Cambridge. I studied at Stratford Upon Avon Grammar School for Girls in Warwickshire where I obtained 4 A* in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at A level and an A in AS French . I have achieved a high 2.i in my first year of study and have loved every minute of my first year of university and am keen to help others achieve and meet their goals when it comes to university applications for medicine and A levels.

I would cater my tutoring to individual needs. Essential to passing A Level exams is to meet the specification requirements, exam practise and essentially learning through looking at marks schemes what the examiner wants to see. For medicine applications a wider knowledge is required and I would advice students on wider readings, key topics and news and help them develop a means on which to expand on these at interview. Interview practise and mock interviews under pressure is also key and I would provide plenty of interview practise ranging from oxbridge specific to MMI style interview stations. Effective communication is key to the understanding of difficult concepts and I am extremely approachable and friendly and happy to answer questions and work through any problems the student faces.

I ran a Medic and Veterinary applicants group at school in Sixth Form where we would practice interview questions and also practice for the slightly different experience of MMIs. I have also helped out at science club at school where I would help younger students with concepts they were struggling with and I would meet in particular with a Year 11 girls on a weekly basis every lunch time to help her with GCSE maths.

I am extremely sporty and especially love running. I am a member of the Cambridge University Hare and Hounds and achieved a blue running at Varsity Cross Country last year and am hoping to make the team again this year. I am also health and safety office for the Hare and Hounds. Apart from sport I enjoy working for the Charity ILEAP which works with Young People with learning difficulties and disabilities. I also love painting and reading in my spare time.
