Having obtained 3 A*s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry at A2 and an A in AS History at Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls, I am now studying Medicine at the University of Cambridge. I have passed first year Medicine with a high 2.1. I am keen to help others succeed in their studies and university applications and interviews.
Smart' learning through using exam board specifications, past papers and mark schemes is key to success in exams. However, UCAS applications, university interviews and life in general test for more than that just rope learning of text book content, the ability to apply knowledge acquired to solve problems and to think outside the box is required. I would be planning my lessons in a way that caters for individual needs, focusing on weaknesses, with the aim to allow students to practice the application of knowledge that will not only be useful in preparation for university applications but will also help students achieve the higher grades in public examinations.
I was in the MedSoc and Science Society committee at school and as committee member, I was involved in organizing and leading after school sessions to help GCSE and A-Level students with Maths and Science, university applications, UCAS personal statements, UKCAT and BMAT tips. interview tips etc.
