It seeks to support students with excellent academic credentials who may not have the financial means to study in these top notch foreign Universities, including the University of Oxford and Cambridge.

The scholarship covers tuition fees, subject to a ceiling of HK$250,000 per annum. Additionally, a bursary will be granted to students who may need additional support to pursue their study, subject to a ceiling of HK$200,000 per student per annum. The means-tested bursary will consist of two components:

1. up to HK$50,000 per annum for covering tuition fee in excess of HK$250,000; and 2. up to HK$150,000 per annum for covering living and other study-related expenses.

However, the value of the award will be reduced accordingly if an applicant has other sources of scholarships/awards to fund his/her studies.

There is a condition attached to the scholarship.
